Small-cap managers are ready to pick up potentially highly-discounted stocks set to be offloaded by UK tracker funds in the wake of last week's FTSE's annual review. Falling market caps as a result of the credit crunch, coupled with a tightening of FTSE liquidity rules, has reduced the number of All Share constituents down from 661 to 620 stocks, a significantly larger adjustment than in previous years.
