Humphrey Van der Klugt will run the £480m Schroder Income fund following the resignation last week of Ian McVeigh, who is leaving the group to set up a hedge fund. Van der Klugt currently manages the A-rated £880m Schroder UK Equity fund. Chief investment officer David Gasparro said the group will review the resources he has in terms of managing money to ensure he has a manageable workload.
