The board of Candover investment trust has appointed former Gartmore head of overseas businesses Christopher Russell as a non-executive director. Russell is an associate of GaveKal Research and a director of Investec High Income Trust, a publicly-quoted company. He was formerly a director at Gartmore Investment Management.
