Barclays Wealth is reissuing its Emerging Markets Optimiser plan after the original product significantly outperformed its underlying fund over its first year. Launching on 3 June, the new five-year Optimiser is a mirror of the original protected investment, which is based upon the iShares MSCI Emerging Market Index ETF. Optimiser seeks to deliver a smooth return by adjusting its allocation to the ETF on a daily basis, determined by the volatility seen in the preceding 20 days.
