The Sarasin AgriSar fund has taken £50m in assets during its first eight weeks after launch, with manager Henry Boucher reporting continuing heavy inflows, the group said. This latest launch invests in companies poised to benefit from the rising global population and the growing demand for food. The manager takes a long-term view, investing in land, equities and commodities, rather than taking short-term bets on changing agricultural commodity prices.
