Ignis Asset Management says it may cut up to 35 Glasgow-based staff across all business operations, including fund management. Recently formed by the merger of Resolution Asset Management and Pearl's Axial, Ignis will reduce headcount by about 7% from the 458 currently at the firm. An Ignis spokesperson denied speculation the fund manager is looking to relocate the bulk of its major operations from Glasgow to London.
