Julius Baer is to push a portfolio which focuses on developed Africa into the UK retail market. Julius Baer Northern Africa, which was first reported in Investment Week in October 2007, provides exposure to developed capital markets, such as Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Nigeria. The fund’s biggest holdings are in Egypt with about 35%, followed by around 30% invested in Moroccan stocks.
