Schroders' Richard Buxton is preparing to sell down his holdings in Barclays, although the bank has been among his top 10 stocks for some time, Investment Week understands. The group said market movements had caused the Barclays holdings as a proportion of his UK Alpha Plus fund to shrink. As at 30 September, Barclays was the second largest position in the £1.15bn fund at 4.7%. As at 31 October, 3.2% of the fund was invested in the bank. It had been among the fund's bottom five detractors year to date, with relative performance of 29.3%, which caused a loss of 0.8% for the fund. Over ...
