Mark Westwood is to join Threadneedle’s UK equity team in September and will become lead manager on one of the group’s existing retail funds. Currently Westwood is a manager with Morley Fund Management, where he has worked on the firm’s main life funds since May last year. Prior to that he worked at Legg Mason Investments alongside Threadneedle’s Chris White and was named manager on the firm’s UK Equity, UK Income and UK Opportunities propositions.
