Thames River's Hedge + vehicle is looking to raise a further £200m through a C-share issue, its fourth raising since launch in February 2004. The closed-ended Guernsey-domiciled fund, run by Ken Kinsey-Quick and Alex Kuiper, took £83m and £70m in two C-share issues last year. Thames River + holds around 40 underlying hedge funds and aims to achieve absolute returns of 10% per annum. The vehicle is also launching realisation shares to allow investors to take advantage of lower capital gains tax charges. Investors will be able to elect to redeem shares twice yearly in June and December...
