A poor start for consumer stocks has led the FTSE 100 into negative territory this morning, with the index down 3.66 points or 0.08% to 4,478.59 by 8:45am. Argos and Homebase owner, Home Retail Group, is adding to yesterday's losses this morning, with its shares down 2.68% to 245p so far. Unilever is also down 2.38% to £14.77, while supermarket giant Sainsbury leads losses with a fall of 2.75% to 336p. On the upside, miner Lonmin has added 5.12% to £12.32, despite concerns its profits may be hit by a fall in platinum prices. British Airways is also up on news a number of members of ...
