Prudential will not be proceeding with a reattribution of the inherited estate held in its £79.1bn With-Profits Sub-Fund. In March 2007, Pru announced it was considering a possible reattribution and nominated its Policyholder Advocate at that time. Norwich Union is also considering a reattribution of its own inherited estate. Policyholders who held with-profits policies prior to 15 March 2007 will continue to have an interest in any potential future distributions as long as their policies remain in force.
