FE Research casts an eye across the investment universe to find lesser-known funds for your portfolios.

The £259m Invesco Perpetual UK Aggressive fund usually plays second fiddle to the much larger £1.25bn Invesco Perpetual UK Growth fund. Both are run by FE Alpha Manager Martin Walker, although he has only been at the helm of the former since late 2012. However, we believe both deserve consideration, and think we Aggressive has some advantages over its rivals. UK Aggressive is a higher conviction version of the UK Growth fund, drawing on the best ideas from across Invesco’s UK equities team.
