One of the longest standing fund managers in the UK, Anthony Bolton, has among the strongest reputations as a stockpicker in the UK retail market. Over the past two years, Bolton has been minimising his role at Fidelity, giving up the management of his investment trusts and passing the group's £2.1bn European fund to Tim McCarron to concentrate solely on his £2.9bn UK Special Situations portfolio.
