Treasury figures show UK economic growth has finally revived in the second half of 2003 and with a cheap pound also stimulating exports, business confidence is spreading. In light of the expected inflationary pressures resulting from the expanding UK economy, the Bank of England has adjusted interest rates upwards. Investors are now expected to revisit the equity markets with a view to acquiring shares with capital growth potential. But, in contrast to harbouring cash in reliable income stocks, as has been the case over the past few years, choosing growth companies is less straightforward ...
