Finding a European manager who has been running the same fund for three years or more is a difficult job these days. Even fewer funds in this sector have strict large cap mandates, with most portfolios investing with a small- to mid- cap bias. Last month, however, saw Richard Lewis mark his third anniversary running the £8m New Star European Leaders portfolio, a large cap-biased fund.
