Framlington’s NetNet fund is top-quartile over three years with growth of over 100%, belying its image of encapsulating the worst excesses of the technology bubble. Fewer stocks and a mid to small-cap focus have been the key to manager Nick Evans’ strategy in dragging the fund out of the huge losses it suffered when the tech bubble burst in 2000, although it does still feature a negative return over a five year period.
