Just six out of 25 IMA sectors remain in negative territory over the six years since the height of the bull market and the start of one of the longest bear markets in UK history. Following three years of recovering markets, the average fund across 19 sectors are showing positive returns, although many funds within those sectors still show losses. If an investor put £100 in a North American fund, Tech or Telecoms, North American Smaller Companies, Japan, European Smaller Companies or a Global Growth fund, they are likely still sitting on losses, although in some cases these are only margin...
