An ancient proverb saying is: "Do not be afraid of growing slowly, be afraid of standing still."

The good news is the US is growing slowly while much of the world is standing still. So instead of 3% growth in GNP, the US is at 2-2.5%. We will take this for the time being in the US. My view is a new US bull market began in November 2011. With ups and downs, the US market is in a bull market. The major averages have not declined below the 200 day moving average in 2012.
