All 138 funds in IMA Balanced Managed sector register positive returns over the past 12 months due to managers' increased equity exposure

In 2009, UK balanced managed funds bounced back strongly from a difficult 2008 as investors’ appetite for increased equity exposure grew. All 138 vehicles in the sector registered positive returns over one year to 26 February, according to Morningstar. CF Miton Strategic Portfolio is the worst performer over one year, up 11%. The IMA Balanced Managed sector includes 138 funds with a remit to invest at maximum of 85% in equities and at least 10% of the portfolio invested in asset classes other than UK equities.
