Only three funds out of 39 in IMA £ Strategic Bond are reporting positive returns over three years and the worst performers have lost over 30%. The recently-launched sector was, on a three-year horizon, showing relatively modest falls during the downturn until September, when the Lehman Brothers collapse sent prices diving across the credit space. UBS' Active Bond, run by Robert Stuart, managed to navigate the nosedive, its one-year return standing at a 4.3% absolute return.
