Trojan Capital offering outperforms over three years by minimising downside risk

An acceleration out of small- and mid-caps into large companies and a more defensive strategy at the beginning of 2008 helped Troy Asset Management's Trojan Capital fund significantly outperform its peers since its launch in March 2006. Over three years, Morningstar data shows the £23m portfolio is down 10.6% compared to the IMA Active Managed sector which has lost 28.2% to 9 March 2009.
