By Margaret Taylor Bank's three institutional portfolios all sit in bottom 10 over three years, underperforming sector by at least 35%
The Bank of Ireland leads the laggards in the IMA's Global Growth sector over thee years, with three of its funds in the bottom five of the peer group. According to data from Standard & Poor's, over the three-year period to the end of April the bank's Worldwide Opportunities portfolio was bottom of the peer group while its British & Overseas fund was third bottom and exempt Overseas Equity the fourth worst performer. All managed by Christopher Reilly, the portfolios made respective cumulative returns of 31.64%, 37.49% and 40.19%, bid to bid, while the average fund in the sector grew by 7...
