Canada Life Income produces top returns over one, three and five years but has won little retail attention in the underused UK Equity & Bond Income sector
A sensible low-risk approach has proved successful for Craig Rippe over his three and a half years running the Canada Life Income fund. He took over the portfolio in 2004, inheriting the vehicle from Michael Gifford when he left to join F&C. Under Rippe's management, the £296m fund has beaten the UK Equity & Bond Income sector average over one and three years and only Jupiter High Income and Monthly Income can better its five-year track record.
