Not shying away from tactically trading stocks, Alan Custis manages Lazard's UK Omega fund as a higher beta product to its sister portfolio UK Alpha. UK Alpha, now £747m, is the group's flagship fund and aims to deliver a return of 3% per annum above the FTSE All-Share index over a three-year period. The portfolio contains 40 to 50 stocks and is benchmark aware in that stock and sector weights are constrained to plus or minus 5% against the index.
