Newton funds top a sector that has seen only three funds generate a positive return over the past three years

As the largest and most diverse of the IMA sectors the disparity between the winners and losers in UK All Companies comes as no surprise, with the top-performer returning 2.76% and those near the bottom seeing losses of more than 50% over three years. The sector requires funds to invest at least 80% of their assets in UK equities which have a primary objective of achieving capital growth.
