Spread of returns in the Balanced Managed sector highlights the diversity of managers' asset allocation
Funds in the Balanced Managed sector produced a 60% spread of returns over the past three years reflecting the wide variety of asset-allocation models used by managers. Way ahead of the pack was CF Ruffer European, which generated bid to bid returns of 90.63% over three years to the end of December 2006 by investing solely in European equities and bonds.
