Allianz mid-cap fund tops All Cos sector

Co-managers Andrew Neville and Trevor Green have swapped fourth quartile numbers for first on mid-cap fund

Former Credit Suisse manager Trevor Green has turned around performance on the Allianz RCM UK Mid Cap fund during his four years at the helm, with the portfolio among the 10 best performers in the UK All Companies sector in 2005. Green took on the portfolio in 2002, when it was sitting in the bottom 10 of the peer group under previous manager Derek Lygo. He was joined by co-manager Andrew Neville two years later. Over the 2001 calendar year, the fund returned -21.69% bid to bid against the sector average of -13.05% and ranked 206 out of 211 funds, according to figures from Standard & Poor...
