SVM's McLean elected vice chair of CFA board of governors

CEO at SVM Colin McLean has been elected as vice chair of the board of governors at CFA Institute, the global association of investment management professionals.

McLean (pictured) succeeds Frederic Lebel, who has been elected as chair of the board. The changes were made at the organisation's 69th annual conference held in Montreal earlier this month. The CEO and founder of SVM Asset Management, McLean will start his new role on 1 September. He is the first non-charterholder to take this position and was once chair of the CFA Society in the UK.
