PIMCO poaches Schroders global equities chief Maisonneuve

Schroders head of global and international equities Virginie Maisonneuve is to exit the group to join PIMCO.

Maisonneuve (pictured), who has been at the group for nine years, is to become global head of equities at PIMCO. In her new role, Maisonneuve will lead PIMCO's active equity portfolio management, the group said. Schroders said Maisonneuve will be replaced by her deputy Simon Webber, who will become the lead portfolio manager for global and international equities at the firm. Peter Harrison, global head of equities, will take on management responsibility for the team, Schroders said in a statement.
