Franklin Templeton hires BlackRock's Elliott as head of advisory

Former BlackRock head of UK retail Mark Elliott is to join Franklin Templeton as the latter reorganises its UK sales team.

Elliott will join Franklin Templeton on 17 June, reporting to Alex Brotherston, who has been promoted to the newly-created role of head of UK retail sales. Elsewhere, former Gartmore and Fidelity man Mark Ward has joined the group as marketing manager covering UK and Nordic discretionary and institutional business.
