Schroders' Lanzer joins global equity team at Alliance Trust

Alliance Trust has expanded its global equities team with the appointment of Juergen Lanzer from Schroders.

Lanzer will join next month and report to the group's head of global equities Ilario Di Bon. Lanzer had been a global sector specialist at Schroders since 2007, and had previously worked alongside Di Bon at UBS. Chief executive Katherine Garrett-Cox said the appointment is a key step in the group building up its asset management business.
