NEWS - MULTI-MANAGER
M&G multi-asset fund manager David Jane has decided to leave the group.
Jane's £682m M&G Managed and £282m M&G Cautious Multi-Asset funds will now be run by George Tsinonis, who runs a similar product for European investors.
Jane joined M&G in 2000 to work on the global specialist equity team. He became head of equity investments in 2002.
M&G says Jane has left the group as a consequence of the group handing stalwart Dave Fishwick the newly created head of retail investment management role.
Jane is exploring other opportunities in the industry, including a possible role at M&G parent Prudential.
Meanwhile chief executive of equities Ed Rosengarten is considering his future, the group says, but will remain in his role until September to ensure a smooth handover.
