Once again, the Gold Standard Awards is inviting companies from every sector of financial services to apply for the accolade.
The Awards aim to identify financial services companies that demonstrate a strong structure and consistent customer-orientated ethos.
As the financial services landscape shifts towards a greater sense of partnership between financial services groups and consumers, a Gold Standard Award logo not only underlines commitment to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), but also demonstrates greater openness and integrity at a time when confidence in the sector has been severely dented.
The Awards identify companies that, in the opinion of the judges, are challenging standard business practices to restore confidence and offer a better proposition to their clients.
Commenting on the awards, Deborah Benn, chair of the judging panel says, "There has never been a more appropriate time for fund mangers, insurance companies, banks and Independent financial advisers to show that they are serious about restoring public confidence. A Gold Standard Award certainly goes some way to showing they are willing to go the extra mile."
The Awards consider key business elements, including capability, financial strength, service, trust and fair value. The application process in association with TCF Index allows applicants to submit statements and include supporting evidence online.
"The system allows applicants to store and organise their application before they submit it," explains Chris Harvey of TCF Index.
Go to www.goldstandardawards.com for more details.
In order to be considered for an Award, applicants are first asked to complete a short questionnaire online, which acts as an initial screen. If successful, they will be sent a login for the online Baseboard™ application process.
