JP Morgan is set to launch a global 130/30 fund under the stewardship of Georgina Percival-Maxwell. Slated for a March 2008 launch, Percival-Maxwell currently runs the JP Morgan $36.8m Healthtech fund. She has been with the group for over a decade and is expected to use synthetic swaps to gain short exposure and gearing to leverage up for the 30% extra long position. The launch follows the four recent 130/30 offerings, focusing on European and US equity markets.
