There can be no doubting George Robinson's appetite for putting money into the cutting edge of investment. After spending the early years of his career working in Asia, he returned to the UK to unite with Hugh Sloane to launch one of the UK's pioneering emerging markets fund groups in 1993 - Sloane Robinson. Since 2004 he has also run the company's emerging markets long/short equity fund.
