F&C promotes Mann to EMD head as rival poaches Williamson

F&C Investments has appointed a new head of emerging market debt following the departure of Helene Williamson to First State.

As revealed by Investment Week, Williamson will lead First State's move into the onshore fixed income space, leaving F&C after a 15-year tenure. The group has promoted Jonathan Mann from his position as a member of the emerging market debt team. Mann joined F&C in 2005, previously heading up emerging market debt funds at Standard Bank and Invesco. Mann said he is preparing to make new additions to the team.
