LVAM launches US Equity Income fund

LV= Asset Management (LVAM) has today launched a US income fund for UK equity fund manager Marcus Chandler.

The US Equity Income fund will sit in the IMA North America sector and aim to generate a yield of more than one and a half times the average paid by S&P 500 companies. The portfolio will comprise of 40-70 companies, with at least 80% in US equities and no single holding exceeding 5%. Chandler reports to Graham Ashby, head of UK equities at LVAM. Both have previously run international equity funds at Sarasin and Credit Suisse. The fund is targeting discretionary, institutional and fund of funds investors.
