Residential property is performing well and this should continue, so investors ought to consider including it in their portfolios using funds if they cannot manage a buy-to-let

With July 2006 figures showing current UK house price growth of 7.4% annually, now is as good a time as any to begin investing in residential property or expand an existing portfolio, provided you are taking a long term view. House prices are expected to remain on an upward curve as a result of the general imbalance between supply and demand, as immigration, divorce and the explosion in single person households all add pressure to the current shortage of property.
