Managers cite good foresight and cheap equities as reasons for outperformance
Of the 21 funds in the IMA Europe including UK sector with a more than a one-year track record, 17 can claim a positive total return over the 12 months to 28 September, with the an average return of 8.3% according to Morningstar. The top performer over three years – Threadneedle Pan European – has returned 15.6% against an average return of 5.6%.
