Sarasin's IIID EquiSar vehicle uses long-only and long-short positions to generate returns from the group's established thematic approach
Sarasin's EquiSar IIID Oeic, forms part of the company's product range alongside GlobalSar and Real Estate Equity. The range is built on the idea of using hedge fund strategies to improve performance, seeking real returns above RPI. EquiSar manager Harry Talbot Rice said the fund makes use of derivatives and shorting, combining long-only and long short positions in the same vehicle.
