A year after leaving Fidelity for Newton, Glen Pratt has steered his mainstream UK Growth fund into the second quartile of the UK All Companies sector. Meanwhile, Sanjiv Shah, his successor on the fund he previously ran, Fidelity UK Aggressive Growth, has moved the portfolio into the first quartile. The core UK equity fund, Newton Growth, which aims for consistent long-term performance, appears to suit Pratt"s style, as does the house for which he now works, where the emphasis is on teamwork.
