Tim McCarron has kept fund in top 10 since taking over three years ago, with overweight in oil boosting returns over the past 12 months
Although not overly bullish on the economic outlook for Europe over the coming year, Fidelity's Tim McCarron believes there are plenty of opportunities out there as many European companies are better performers than US counterparts. McCarron took on the management of Fidelity European from Anthony Bolton in January 2003 and since then the portfolio has retained its position in the top 10 of the Europe ex-UK sector.
