Emerging Europe from Credit Suisse and Jupiter funds top sector, with Austin Forey's JPMorgan portfolio the best generalist vehicle available
The global emerging markets sector has been one of the success stories of the past three years, generating spectacular returns for investors. The average fund in the group boasts a bid-to-bid gain of 111.6% over 36 months to the end of April, a return only European smaller company managers have bettered. Top performer over the three years, according to Morningstar, is Elena Shaftan's Jupiter Emerging European, which is up 160.66%.
