Cartesian was Resolution's second joint venture boutique and followed in the footsteps of the successful Argonaut collaboration with Neptune managers Oliver Russ and Barry Norris. This time the group turned to David Stevenson and Andrew Kelly, UK managers at SVM, who built up a strong track record with the Scottish group at the helm of UK Opportunities and a long-short Saltire vehicle.
