Melchior European Opportunities sees slight improvement over three months, despite sitting at bottom of peer group over one and three years

Performance on the Melchior European Opportunities fund has been less than exciting thus far but manager James Hordern believes his play on European property will boost figures. The fund sits at the bottom of the European Smaller Companies sector over one and three years to 9 April. Since launch on 11 November 2003, it is also ranked 14th out of the 14 funds in the peer group and returned 89.92% compared to the sector average of 149.56%, according to Morningstar.
