Aberdeen's co-head of fixed income Griffiths quits

Paul Griffiths is leaving his role as global co-head of fixed income at Aberdeen Asset Management, handing over sole responsibility for the role to Brad Crombie.

The group said it will not be looking to replace Griffiths, who has left to "pursue an opportunity elsewhere in the industry". Crombie (pictured) has been global co-head of fixed income since October 2013 responsible for all investment teams, staffing and budget. He will now also be in charge of client relations and product development as global head of fixed income. Griffiths joined Aberdeen in 2009 as part of the acquisition of various businesses from Credit Suisse. The firm's fixed income and money market platform was worth £45bn at the end of February.
