GAM rolls out Credit Opportunities fund

GAM has unveiled the GAM Star Credit Opportunities fund, a UCITS III corporate credit fund that will drive returns through investing in undervalued, US dollar-denominated corporate credit.

The fund is managed by Geneva-based boutique Atlanticomnium, a house specialising in sophisticated credit instruments and complex market segments, such as financials. Anthony Smouha and Gregoire Mivelaz are the named managers on the portfolio. Smouha and Mivelaz focus on investment grade and higher quality non-investment grade bonds with a strong bias towards financials, targeting companies that generate much of their income from their franchises.
