Royal London Asset Management head of sales Stan Bland has resigned to pursue other interests.
Bland, who was also director of the Ireland-based RLAM Bonds Funds, has been with the company for nine years.
RLAM says he is making a clean break from the City and returning to his native Scotland.
"We are sorry to see Stan leave but fully understand this lifestyle decision. We thank him for his significant contribution to RLAM's ongoing success and wish him well for the future," the company says.
"We are actively looking for a high quality replacement and are working with Stan to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities."
