To manage money is to be a professional decision maker. A small number of good decisions can create huge value for investors.

These are often positive decisions; a new holding or a change in asset allocation. Equally, they can be more negative decisions; selling a position that has not worked or accepting a long standing holding has delivered all that the thesis anticipated and accepting that it is time to move on. These are each emotive and consequently difficult. The key is to do the work and have the willingness to come to a conclusion and act on it.
